MatPortal's Virtuoso triplestore and Mobi policy caches have been optimized for faster query resolution and snappier UI loads across the platform.
We recently rolled out a major optimization patch for our Virtuoso triplestore and the Mobi catalog policy cache. We increased buffer pools, optimized the indexing strategies for the quad store, and decoupled wildcard searches to prevent full-table scans.
As a result, users will notice a dramatic speedup when loading the Ontologies browser, querying via the SPARQL endpoint, and interacting with the Mobi Entity Search. Complex queries that used to take several seconds now return almost instantaneously.
