Fraunhofer ICGV AM Application Ontology is an ODE_AM application module for additive-manufacturing data management. It reuses BFO as top-level and CCO as mid-level ontologies, imports the IGCV Manufacturing Application Ontology, and adds AM-specific concepts such as process parameters, build-platform coordinates, support structures, machine entities, and instruction-file artifacts for consistent process documentation and querying.

It primarily integrates existing classes from the Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) and the Common Core Ontologies (CCO), selectively chosen to fit the considered use cases in our project.
